Basic Kicks
Having good basics is just like having a strong foundation, without a good foundation you cannot build a strong stable building.

DOWN HEEL KICK
The purpose of this kick is to attack with your heel on the downwards motion.

FRONT SNAP KICK
The action behind this kick is kicking with the ball of the foot. This kick is best executed if your target is facing you front on, as you are pushing forward with this kick.

ROUND HOUSE KICK
This kick is executed using the instep of your foot, or the balls of your feet. It is for side targets, when your opponent is not directly facing you, but is facing you sideways, that is, with his/her torso facing in a singular direction.

SIDE KICK
With this kick, you are kicking from the side, generally when your opponent is facing you front on. When contact is made, it is the heel that goes through your opponent, as this is the strongest part of your foot.

ROUND BACK KICK
This is basically a side kick whilst spinning in a 360 degree turn. The reason the 360 degree turn is included is because it adds power and speed to the impact of the blow.
